Plumbing Manager Position
PCI Services (Process Construction) is seeking a person to fill a full-time Plumbing Manager position. The primary duty of this position is to oversee the day-to-day performance of our plumbing operations, develop and build strong relationships with new and existing customers, work with our construction department to bid and manage new projects, and to provide support for our field installation and service plumbers.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist our construction services group with sales and estimating new commercial and industrial plumbing installation projects.
- Assist our construction services group with project management of commercial plumbing projects, taking the lead role in these projects as required.
- Managing existing maintenance plumbing service accounts.
- Work with our purchasing group for project buyouts to obtain the most advantageous pricing and pre-purchasing of any items that could potentially face long lead times and/or rapid price increases.
- Provide technical support to the field as needed.
- Coordinate with our dispatch and manpower lead to schedule crews and daily scheduling needs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of plumbing experience including field work, estimating / project management of commercial plumbing projects, and education in the plumbing industry.
- A strong knowledge of plumbing code and various plumbing systems.
- Proven leadership capabilities, proper organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and powerful communication skills are required.
- Computer literate and competent with working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office and Estimating Softwares are desired but not required.
