What are the responsibilities and job description for the Steel Fabricator position at PCIW STEEL Corp.?
At PCIW STEEL Corp., we are seeking a highly skilled Steel Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for painting all fabricated steel products, including rails, beams, columns, stairs, and other miscellaneous metals.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in all facets of Painting and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. You must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment and have a basic understanding of standard power tools.
Responsibilities include:
- Painting all fabricated steel products to match material data sheets
- Cleaning and preparing metal surfaces to be painted by removal of dirt, grease, rust, scale, and old paint contaminants
- Maintaining Company Safety Rules and OSHA standards
In addition to your technical skills, you will also support other personnel as needed and perform general cleaning and yard maintenance tasks. Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.
