Future needs for Combination Pipewelder for our Willow Project in North Slope of Alaska. Schedule 4 weeks on /2 weeks off. Man-Camp location, including meals and snacks for the day. Employees will be required to book and pay for their own flight to Anchorage Alaska including purchase of own cold weather gear.

Experience

As a Combination Pipe Welder for our PICCo Willow Project in North Slope, Alaska, you will contribute to our team by:

• Experience in the industrial industry (petrochemical, power plant, cement plant) or related field, with four or more years of experience as a Combo Pipe Welder.
• Must have a working knowledge of pipefitting techniques
• Strong working knowledge of and experience working with pipe welding.
• Experience with the methods and techniques used to level, plumb, align, and set the equipment and piping.
• Knowledge of and experience working with the chemical composition of metals, compounds, alloys, heat transfer rates, thermal expansion, and material strength.
• Able to use torch cutting equipment as well as pipe cutting/beveling machines.
• Knowledge of materials which requires the proper pre-heating prior to cutting or welding.
• Able to understand and apply applicable welding codes.
• Able to read and understand weld procedures
• Able to weld in various positions 2G, 5G, 6G, etc.
• Able to weld with dual/different processes.
• Able to pass welding test per project specifications and/or weld procedure.
• Able to perform welding duties to meet project specifications and code criteria.
• Must have minimal of 48 verifiable work experience as a Combination Pipe welder
• Must complete NSTC training and be certified prior to arrival
• Must meet all pre-hire DISA requirements
