Currently looking for a Warehouse Helper for our PICCO District at our CP CHEM PROJECT in Orange, Texas. Need to be able to support different craft on site. No per diem is paid for the helper positon

As a WAREHOUSE PERSON , you will contribute to our team by:

• Must pass DISA background check.
• Must pass DISA follicle, drug and alcohol test.
• Must have either Basic or Basic refresher or Safety Essential.
• Must have experience running forklifts (Telehandler Forklifts) in congested area.
• Work in laydown yard, filling requests to support construction.
• Off-loading and loading materials in the laydown yard.
• Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking items received against the packing list.
• Prepares a receiving report if none is available.
• Examine incoming shipments for damaged items. Appropriately report/record any discrepancies.
• Attaches identifying tag or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
• Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to projects or vendors.
• Review all requisitions to determine if they were picked correctly.
• Ensure laydown area cleanliness is maintained on a regular basis.
• Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area.
  
  

What You Will Bring To The Role

• Be able to identify items by size, type, style, color or manufacturer.
• Solid reading skills – must be able to read requisitions for materials to be shipped
• Basic math skills and reasoning skills.
• Forklift Certification a plus.
• Ability to understand and execute instructions.
• General understanding of the warehouse and footprint
• Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices or computers if necessary.
