The Vice President, Events & Experiences reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and is a key member of PCMA leadership. The VP, Events & Experiences is passionate about re-defining events to affect business impact, create powerful brand moments and experiences in this ever-changing environment, with a focus on driving connections and community.
The primary responsibility of this position includes the development and implementation of the events portfolio strategy with a focus on North America and alignment to global events. The role also includes designing experiences unique to each community supporting education and the creation of a marketplace to monetize each event and the entire event portfolio.
This position is accountable for event design and execution across the company and the events team, managing costs and significantly improving attendee experiences, including the creation of an annual strategic plan for events while collaborating with key stakeholders on the planning, coordinating, marketing, selling of each event, in addition to, supporting the logistics and functional needs of external stakeholders, internal departments, and service providers. This role will not have global accountability but will have global event visibility and alignment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Continued development of PCMA’s event strategy and experience based on target communities and execution of strategy including KPIs.
- Develop, analyze and evolve the event portfolio to amplify our brand story, create evangelists and engage new and existing audiences.
- Collaborate with marketing on all event communications, both internal and external, and audience acquisition strategy
- Lead event projects with assigning roles and responsibilities to maintain a team culture of collaboration.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop innovative events that meet the needs of our audience.
- Manage event resources, both internal and external, including vendors, partners, and agencies
- Manage, develop, coach and mentor the HQ events team to successfully deliver events and ensure all events align to PCMA’s larger event strategy and financial goals.
- Create and manage an events budget for PCMA, PCMA Foundation and CEMA.
- Develop and maintain an annual calendar of events and a roadmap for all PCMA, PCMA Foundation and CEMA virtual and in-person events.
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
