Responsibilities:
As a Certified Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing healthcare services directly in patients' residences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing light housekeeping
- Preparing meals and snacks
- Transporting and accompanying clients to appointments and activities
- Utilizing safety equipment to minimize injury risks
- Reminding clients to take their medications
- Assisting clients with personal care and daily living activities
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting on client conditions
- Maintaining accurate client care records and documenting services provided
- Supporting clients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises as per care plans
- Educating clients and families on diet and exercise
- Providing compassionate companionship and emotional support
- Collaborating with other associates and families to meet clients' needs
- Implementing care plans under the directives of a Registered Nurse
Skills Required:
- Proven experience as a certified home health aide
- Ability to monitor vital signs and collect specimens
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Strong nursing and healthcare administration skills
- Caring and compassionate personality
Requirements:
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in the state of NJ (Required)
- Valid Driver's License (Preferred)
