As an experienced Foreman, you will oversee and self-perform a variety of work as it relates to the commercial construction industry. This is a “working” and supervisory role. Areas of work include, but not limited to, Metal Framing, Drywall and Acoustic ceilings. You will also lead a team to complete projects on time and on budget. You will be responsible for reporting and communicating project status and project issues to Project management. You will also be an integral part of training and mentoring team members.

Operations & Project Management
· Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to plan and execute projects
· Skilled in metal framing, insulation, drywall repair, and acoustic ceiling installation
· Ensure that work is completed safely, on time, and to high quality standards
· Follow OSHA and company safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
· Ensure equipment is maintained and used correctly
· Monitor progress and address any issues that arise on-site
· Conduct a clean and organized job site
Team Leadership
· Supervise and organize a team of carpenters on a construction site
· Train and mentor apprentices and other carpenters to develop their skills and knowledge
· Plan and manage manpower and materials to ensure the schedule and budget for the project is meet
Skills and Education Required
· High School Diploma Required
· State of Michigan Journeyman license with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial construction
· OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid certification
· Must be proficient with software such as Adobe, Microsoft Word and Outlook
· Good working knowledge of Interior - Exterior Metal Stud Framing/Drywall and Acoustics Ceilings
· Ability to be an individual contributor and team player
· Provide clear communication to both internal and external project partners

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
