Description : About the Role
This full-time Computer Technician position is responsible for the technician operations process. The Computer Technician will be able to work diligently and accurately and will possess a great problem-solving ability in order to fix issues and ensure functionality, and be well-versed in computer systems and network functions.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Repairing and refurbishing donated computers
- Work with managers on improving process
- Computer troubleshooting
- Hard drive sanitization
- Disk imaging
- Automated operating system installation
- Disassembling computers
- Assembling computers
- Computer repairs
- Telephone technical support
- Computer loading / unloading
- Refurbish desktops and laptops
- Troubleshoot issues
- Provide customer support
- Upgrade online orders
- Understanding of various images needed for devices
- Meet daily and weekly refurbish goal
- Understand KPI goals and meet them
- Maintain clean and organized work space
- QC hard drives
- Other duties as needed
