General Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to operate various hand and power tools, and be a self starter. This role is essential in supporting our production and shipping processes.

General Description:

• Supports workers and supervision in various tasks across all departments.
• Performs simple shop operations, shop housekeeping.
• Shipping & Receiving with packaging/crating of product.
• Moves supplies/job to workstations by forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Maintains and cleans production areas as needed. May include washing of machines/equipment.
• General Facility maintenance.
• Works under direct supervision.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs if needed.

Safety

• Comply with all company rules including company safety policy and all federal, state, local, and other safety regulations and practices. As outlined in PDC Safety Manual.
• Use personal protective equipment and devices provided.
• Report all accidents and injuries immediately to your supervisor.
• Report all unsafe conditions to their supervisors.
• Integrity to act responsibly for the well-being of people, the preservation of property and business continuity.

Housekeeping

• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following Company instructions;
• Tools, equipment and gauges are stored and maintained as defined by company standards.
• Keeps work area clean and organized to company standards/expectations.
• Daily cleaning and sweeping of work area, tools and equipment.
• Empty of trash and waste as needed.
• Personal items removed from work stations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
