Role Overview:
The Product Management Intern will support market and user research initiatives across GasBuddy (consumer mobile apps). This role provides hands-on experience in gathering user feedback, conducting market research, and assisting with beta programs, helping shape product strategy and improvements. The intern will work closely with a Product Management professional and gain valuable exposure to consumer app development.
\n- Conduct user feedback research to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for GasBuddy and Data Services.
- Assist in market research to analyze competitors, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Support beta testing programs, gathering insights from users to improve product offerings.
- Organize and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and marketing to improve user experience.
- Develop and maintain research documentation and reports to track insights and recommendations.
- Assist in survey creation and execution, collecting feedback from users and industry experts.
- Support the creation of presentations and reports for product leadership.
- Contribute to product strategy discussions by providing data-driven recommendations.
- Help with competitive analysis and benchmarking, identifying opportunities for innovation.
- Rising college junior, senior, or MBA student with a focus on Business, Data Analytics, Product Management, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage research documentation effectively.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with consumer mobile apps (for GasBuddy-related projects).
- Analytical mindset to uncover consumer pain points.
- Experience with market research methodologies (surveys, competitive analysis, user interviews).
- Basic design skills (helpful but not required).
- Understanding of data collection, analysis, and visualization tools.
