Role Description
The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for assisting the General Manager with all aspects of operations, driving growth and profitability through technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen.
Main Duties
Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative team environment, providing training, coaching, and mentorship to enhance team members' skills and performance.
Service Coordination: Ensure seamless coordination of service calls, dispatching technicians to customer locations, and maintaining inventory levels of parts and supplies.
Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and expectations, and seeking feedback to continuously improve service quality.
Sales and Growth: Drive sales and growth through the development of strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones, identifying opportunities for upselling additional products or services.
Financial Oversight: Monitor financial performance, preparing and managing the budget for the service location, and implementing corrective actions as needed to optimize operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the garage door service or skilled trade industry.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
