PDQ Staffing is currently seeking a skilled Electrician to join our client's team in the Dallas area. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in electrical work, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Schedule :
Monday-Friday
6am-2 : 30pm
Pay Rate : Job Duties :
Wire machines on new installs, and older equipment moves.
Troubleshoot problems on production and other equipment.
Preform scheduled repairs on production and other equipment.
Preform preventative and predictive maintenance on production and other equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair or notify management of a need for contracted service for a vehicle, forklift, and other powered equipment problems.
Knowledge of Fire Systems - tamper alarms, PIV's, flow switches, etc.
Assist other technicians when possible and help cover their areas when they aren't available.
Troubleshoot and repair or notify management of a need for contracted service for HVAC, MAU. or chiller problems.
Documents maintenance and repair activities to provide accurate records of work performed.
Job Requirements :
High School education
Minimum two years working as a journeyman.
Training to follow NEC Electrical codes.
Electrician license
Minimum one year working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience of installation processes, conduit bending and installation, reading blueprints including loop diagrams, wiring diagrams.
Basic knowledge of three phase electricity, relay logic, direct current, and PLC fundamentals.
Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
