Overview:
The primary role of the Analyst, Accounts Payable is to process a variety of invoices to ensure accurate monthly financials for all PDS offices. The Analyst, Accounts Payable should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, and be committed to achieving predetermined goals and deadlines while working within the policies of the Accounting Dept.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes vendor statements on a monthly basis and works with vendors to maintain account current
- Prepares to upload templates for invoice creation into ERP system
- Analyzes and corrects exceptions from automation tools
- Analyzes vendor invoicing processes to determine automation opportunities
- Performs data entry functions for invoices and check requests in a timely manner
- Possesses knowledge of chart of accounts to determine proper allocation of expenses
- Works closely with accounting team to ensure proper coding
- Assists in providing month end accrual information
- Maintains current vendor information
- Participates in meetings as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Strong computer and data entry skills with competent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable
Preferred
- Experience in a multi-regional healthcare, retail, or dental company
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in related field

- Analytical skills to synthesize complex or diverse information. Ability to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action
- Actively share ideas in a constructive and positive manner by listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others
