Customer Service Clerk (First Shift)

PDS Optical is a SDVOSB Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that manufactures a very large number of eyeglasses each day. We have Optical Laboratories in Louisville, KY and Fort Lauderdale, FL and manage many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. We take great pride in our product and are especially thankful to produce eyeglasses for United States Veterans. PDS Optical employs a diverse workforce which we embrace and encourage. Do you enjoy engaging while helping others? If you answered yes, then we are looking for you! A strong relationship with our clients starts with you. The customer service position serves customers by providing product and service information; resolving product and service problems. The orders start here and are reviewed, priced and then passed along to data entry for processing.

The shift is Monday - Friday, from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm . The starting pay is $17/hr .

Essential Functions Include But Are Not Limited To

• Provide customer service to customer account reps or patients, answer phones, follow up with orders, files, tracking patient’s orders and status, etc.
• Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data which may include verifying the eligibility of order.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
