About the Role
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Agent to play a critical role in managing aerospace procurement operations. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep industry expertise, a strong command of FAR / DFARS compliance , and the ability to drive supplier performance at the highest level.
Location : Wichita, KS 67210
Job Type : Full-Time Consultant | 6-Month Contract
Schedule : Monday – Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM
Pay Rate : $110.25 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Subcontract Management – Oversee supplier contracts with strict adherence to FAR / DFARS regulations , ensuring compliance and seamless execution.
Supplier Performance & Negotiation – Cultivate strong supplier relationships, manage contract adherence, and lead best-value procurement strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with engineering, finance, and program management teams to align procurement strategies with business goals.
Strategic Sourcing & Selection – Conduct competitive supplier evaluations, leveraging industry knowledge to secure optimal cost, quality, and performance.
Proposal & Cost Analysis – Support estimating, financial analysis, and proposal development for procurement initiatives.
Industry Expertise – Apply specialized knowledge in advanced composites, machining, and structural supply chains to enhance procurement operations.
What You Bring
10 years of experience in supply chain, subcontracting, or procurement within the defense / aerospace industry .
Expert knowledge of FAR / DFARS compliance, supplier management, and best-value selection.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a proven ability to resolve issues and drive supplier excellence.
Ability to mentor junior team members and lead procurement best practices.
Experience in cost estimating, financial analysis, and proposal development preferred.
Familiarity with advanced composites, machining, and structural components highly desirable.

Pay Details : $110.25 per hour
