PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Electrical Specialist to support our cutting-edge HVAC manufacturing processes for data centers. As part of our expansion in Mesa, Arizona, you'll play a critical role in optimizing electrical systems, driving efficiency, and improving quality as we contribute to reducing the carbon footprint of the HVAC industry.
Role Overview :
As an Electrical Specialist, you’ll work closely with the operations and engineering teams to enhance electrical systems within our manufacturing processes. Your work will directly impact production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness as you implement best practices and troubleshoot issues to ensure top-notch product delivery. This is a high-impact role for a self-driven professional eager to shape the future of sustainable manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities :
Optimize Electrical Systems : Improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of electrical systems within the production environment.
Lean and Six Sigma Implementation : Identify bottlenecks, failure points, and waste within electrical processes, applying process improvement techniques.
Root Cause Analysis : Troubleshoot electrical production issues and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
Documentation & Compliance : Create and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment specifications, and up-to-date SOPs for electrical installation and safety protocols.
Training & Safety : Provide technical training to production staff, ensuring they follow safe practices when working with electrical systems.
Cross-Departmental Support : Offer electrical expertise for equipment selection, installation, and system improvements to meet production goals.
Continuous Improvement Projects : Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams and multi-site operations to ensure best practices are implemented.
Required Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems Engineering, or a related field. A Journeyman Electrical certificate will also be considered.
Experience : 7 years as an Electrical Specialist, Electrical Engineer, or Electrical Systems Manager in a manufacturing environment.
Skills :
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical prints, schematics, and Bills of Materials.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
Expertise in electrical design tools (CAD) for system simulations, schematics, and equipment layout.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks (preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with various departments.

Pay Details : 90,000.00 to 110,000.00 per year
