Framing Operator

Schedule : Sunday – Thursday, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM
Pay Rate : 16.00 per hour
Position Overview :
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Framing Operator to join our team in Pine Grove, PA. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining framing machines , ensuring proper fabric feeding, adjusting machine settings, and conducting visual quality inspections. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Review dye orders and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to determine machine setup.
Thread fabric into the machine following company standards.
Operate framing machines , maintaining proper speeds, widths, and overfeed settings.
Make necessary adjustments to ensure production quality.
Monitor fabric for defects and ensure proper feeding onto the pins.
Record production data and enter dye order details into the WIP computer system.
Report any machine issues or material inconsistencies to the supervisor.
Follow all company safety protocols , including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain good housekeeping and a clean work environment .
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and Spanish preferred.
Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Ability to interpret technical instructions and adjust machine settings accordingly.
Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and attention to detail to identify fabric defects.
Must be able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment :
80% standing, 20% walking throughout the shift.
Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and repetitive hand movements .
Occasionally required to climb or balance on equipment .
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when handling materials.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements :
Eye protection
Hearing protection
Steel-toe / non-slip shoes
Reflective vest (where applicable)
Hard hat

Pay Details : 16.00 per week
