Weekend Shift : Friday – Sunday, 6 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM
Team 2 Shift : Monday – Friday, 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 00 PM
Position Overview :
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Master Tech II to join our team at the Dye Plant in Pine Grove, PA. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC equipment, boilers, air compressors, water treatment systems, and other plant utilities . The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical and electrical systems , as well as leadership experience in training and guiding HVAC technicians.
Key Responsibilities :
Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with all safety protocols.
Maintain, install, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, air compressors, and plant utilities .
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on air conditioning, heating, chillers, and oil heating equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair pumps, hydronic systems, and HVAC components .
Monitor and adjust airflow systems and pressure control .
Install, inspect, and repair gas-fired boilers, chillers, and other equipment .
Work closely with vendors and management to coordinate maintenance and equipment upgrades.
Train HVAC Technicians and assist with equipment modifications and installations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation of work performed.
Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3 years of electrical or mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documents .
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment .
Experience with piping, plumbing, and HVAC system layouts .
Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment :
100% standing, 10% walking throughout the shift.
Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and repetitive hand movements .
Occasionally required to climb or balance on equipment .
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when handling materials.
Exposure to vibration, fumes, and airborne particles .
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements :
Eye protection
Hearing protection
Steel-toe / non-slip shoes
Reflective vest (where applicable)

Pay Details : 19.75 per week
