About the Role
As a Remanufacturing Technician, you’ll play a critical role in delivering superior products by performing essential tasks such as disassembly, inspection, cleaning, rework, and assembly of locomotive traction motor combo components. Using advanced manual and automated equipment, you’ll ensure compliance with rigorous quality standards and support lean manufacturing principles.
Key Responsibilities
Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble locomotive traction motor combo components.
Operate manual and automated equipment, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic tools.
Perform inspections to verify compliance with engineering and quality standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of completed processes.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives like 5S, Kaizen, and single-piece flow.
Undertake specialized processes such as welding or non-destructive testing with training or certification.
What You’ll Need
Education: High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) procedures and policies.
Proficiency in using manual equipment, hand tools, and inspection measurement devices.
Physical ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
Preferred Skills:
Associate’s Degree or technical certification.
Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and quality control procedures.

Pay Details: 22.50 per hour
