General Function
- Provide product assistance to PM and PSM in managing the life cycle of Air Force systems.
- Assist in the development of sustainment plans (PPSP, PPTP, TPP) and ensure all logistics requirements are tailored to mission needs.
- Support procurement, logistics data analysis, and supply chain management for critical assets, spares, tooling, and other sustainment materials.
- Apply knowledge of acquisition logistics policies and procedures to support system procurement and life cycle management.
- Conduct field support at AMARG, providing logistics support during regeneration activities and performing maintenance reviews, parts verification, and supportability analysis.
- Prepare and review logistics documentation such as ILSP, LCSP, technical manuals, and work specifications.
- Support program reviews, meetings, and assist in coordinating logistics support activities.
- Support sustainment teams with data analysis, procurement, acquisition management, and logistics of critical assets.
- Assist in generating and reviewing logistics support documentation, including Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), technical manuals, and illustrated parts breakdowns.
- Contribute to the development of system and equipment design support requirements, conducting analyses related to total life cycle costs, supportability, and risk mitigation.
- Provide support in identifying and analyzing Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues and recommend solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MA/BA Degree and at least 3 years of experience related to the position requirements, 3 of which must be with the DoD, OR, 7 years of directly related experience, 5 of which must be with the DoD.
- Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret Level.
- Must be able to perform functional duties independently.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
