General Function
- Provide product support to PM and PSM for the execution of Total Life Cycle Systems Management.
- Assist in logistics data analysis, procurement, and sustainment of critical assets, insurance spares, tooling, and related parts.
- Help develop, maintain, and execute Post Production Support Plans, Transition Plans, and strategies for phased execution.
- Apply knowledge of acquisition logistics, policies, and procedures to the life cycle management of Air Force systems and subsystems.
- Support software development, sustainment, and avionics testing and repair activities.
- Conduct studies, data collection, parts verification, and supportability analysis at Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG).
- Develop and review logistics support documentation, such as Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), technical manuals, and work specifications.
- Support program reviews, meetings, and provide status updates for assigned projects.
- Assist in identifying solutions for Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS).
- Coordinate logistics efforts for spares, support equipment, technical data, and other materials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MA Degree and at least 10 years of experience in the related field, 5 of which must be with the DoD, OR, BA Degree and at least 12 years of experience related to the position requirements, 5 of which must be with the DoD, OR, 15 years of directly related experience, 8 of which must be with the DoD.
- Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret Level.
- Must be able to perform functional duties independently.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
