General Function

• Assist in analyzing and improving acquisition effectiveness and compliance.
• Support the development of acquisition documentation, including quality control, work measurement studies, and efficiency reviews.
• Participate in key acquisition reviews such as System Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), and more.
• Help develop and manage databases for tracking key program metrics.
• Assist with risk management planning, program briefings, and status reporting.
• Support the development of requirements documents and assist with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process.
• Promote and support Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
• Assist in program coordination, including providing support for technical reviews, tracking actions, and helping resolve programmatic issues.
• Assist in program execution, including managing funds, tracking schedules, and supporting the rapid response to new program requirements.
• Support external mission partner coordination and participate in program reviews, briefings, and working groups.
  
  

Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MA Degree and at least 10 years of experience in the related field, 5 of which must be with the DoD, OR, BA Degree and at least 12 years of experience related to the position requirements, 5 of which must be with the DoD, OR, 15 years of directly related experience, 8 of which must be with the DoD.
• Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret Level.
• Must be able to perform functional duties independently.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
