Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Maintenance Specialist to join our Open Cut Maintenance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing their expertise to maintain and repair heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment, including shovels and draglines
- Perform repairs and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of the maintenance crew
- Act in accordance with and adhere to Safety as a Way of Life Management System
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of mining related or industrial experience working on large rope shovels and draglines
- Strong understanding of heavy equipment maintenance and repair principles
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, climbing, and lifting
