About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Rope Shovel and Dragline Specialist to join our Open Cut Maintenance team. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment maintenance and repair, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment to identify potential issues
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with the crew to troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians
- Other duties as assigned by the management team
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or repair
- Ability to work safely and promote safe behavior in others
- Knowledge of mine production processes and procedures
- Experience with rope shovels and draglines required
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
