JOB TITLE: Warehouse Tank Prep
BASED: Peabody Engineering LLC. 230 Financial Blvd Liberty, SC 29657
JOB STATUS: Full-Time and Non-Exempt
POSITION REPORTS TO: Manufacturing & Maintenance Manager
SCHEDULE: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, with additional hours as needs arise. Overtime must be pre-approved by management.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Warehouse Tank Prep duties include the finishing stages of the parts and materials for finished goods. Thermoplastic parts and related products are cleaned up; miscellaneous sub-assemblies are attached and fine-tuned, and crating, palletizing, and placing stickers are done before shipment.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in Warehouse and Manufacturing environment preferred.
- Previous assembly and/or kitting experience.
- Basic to intermediate shop math and blueprint reading.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems when they arise or communicate to management
- Ability to retain instructions and work independently or team
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. safely.
- Ability to work well with others positively and constructively.
- Inventory control experience is a plus.
- Warehouse moving equipment experience and/or willingness to train.

- Prepare and package parts for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Regular and prompt attendance per assigned schedule and effectively communicating when there are deviations from the schedule ahead of time.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Clean Parts thoroughly by vacuuming out plastic shavings from the product and using a degreaser, rages, and scotch brite pads to remove any debris
- Disassemble and reassemble products
- Flame treat product using a shrink-fast heat gun power tool and proper personal protective equipment.
- Apply stickers on parts according to work instructions
- Place kits inside of products according to work instructions
- Stage finished product for Shipping Processor
- Assist with building crates and pallets and shrink-wrapping products for shipment.

- Routinely required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, lift, and reach,
- Requires the essential use of hands, speech, eyesight, and hearing.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This role is typically on the shop floor, standing and moving. You will work in team groups and independently. The production floor is hot in the summer and cold in the winter due to open dock doors and ovens used in the manufacturing process. This Company is a Drug, Alcohol, and Tobacco-Free Workplace.
