Roles & Responsibilities
The Executive Assistant is a pivotal position in the life of the company and its culture. This role combines the business-related aspects of a Personal Assistant with the additional responsibility of organizing the CEO’s personal life. Ultimately, helping the CEO to achieve his strategic objectives.
- Take strategic approach to organizing meetings to maximize CEO’s calendar.
- Provide daily schedule with structured Agendas for meetings and un/resolved action items
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive topics, materials, and conversations.
- Communicate professionally in writing, online, and via phone on behalf of CEO.
- Ad hoc project manager for sensitive or strategic initiatives
- Package reports and summarize information into briefs for executive management.
- Liaising with clients and staff.
- Manage or delegate business / personal errands.
- Research, plan and organize complicated business/personal travel.
- Special event planning, both business and personal
- Manage business and personal correspondence for CEO.
- Assist with personal bookkeeping for CEO
- Prepare expense reports.
- Assist with onboarding, engagement activities and policy documentation.
- Assist Leadership Team with various projects as needed.
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 8:30am- 5:00pm EST
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years Executive Assistant experience supporting the following key functions:
- External communication on behalf of CEO and other senior management
- Managing operational calendar and follow up items
- Monthly, Quarterly, Annual Planning.
- Providing support and best practice to leadership
- Candidate must reside in North Carolina
