Landscaper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and care. This role involves maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of various landscapes, including gardens, lawns, and trees. The Landscape Technician will work closely with team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Build and install landscape features including flower beds, and gardens
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain power tools and equipment safely.
• Conduct groundskeeping activities including weeding, mulching, and debris removal.
• Care for gardens by planting, pruning, and maintaining flowers and shrubs.
• Assist in snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible.
• Engage in groundskeeping activities, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
• Installing irrigation systems to gardens and flower beds

Skills

• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques.
• Ability to build various landscape features with attention to detail.
• Mechanical knowledge for operating power tools and equipment safely.
• Experience in groundskeeping practices to maintain clean outdoor spaces.
• Proficiency in lawn care methods for healthy turf management.
• Understanding of irrigation systems for efficient water usage.
• Familiarity with garden care principles to enhance plant growth.

Requirements

• Must have a drivers license
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must own all basic lawn care equipment and use for jobs such as (lawn mower, weed whacker, hedge trimmer, leaf blower, rakes, shovels etc.)
• Must have ability to transport equipment to and from jobs
• Must have good communication skills both in person and over the phone
• Must be Flexible
• Enjoy working alone and with people
• Enjoy being outside in the beauty of nature

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 20 per week

Experience:

• Landscaping: 1 year (Preferred)
• Lawn Care: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Commute:
