Ideal Candidate

• Board Certified Pediatric MD/DO with at least 2 years of post-training experience that includes hospital work
• Interest in working on a per diem, as-needed basis
  
  

Practice Highlights

• Pediatric Hospitalists provide in-house 24/7 coverage for our area’s sole community hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center.
• Scope of care includes Pediatric Unit, Newborn Nursery, Level II Special Care Nursery, delivery attendance, and ER support (Level II Trauma Center)
• Growing program will include coverage with a second daytime hospitalist (shifts will include 12-hour day shifts, 12-hour night shifts, and 9-hour day shifts)
• Established infrastructure and strong support staff
• Physicians are experienced, collegial, supportive, and focused on high-quality, evidence-based medicine
• Robust primary care team, strong continuity of care from inpatient to outpatient
• EPIC EMR
