The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

The Manager of Ancillary Services is responsible for providing leadership to assigned units; continually improves service and operations to ensure that safe, reliable and high-quality care and patient experiences are provided; creates an environment that supports caregivers and enhances growth, communication and job satisfaction; Responsible for quality, service and regulatory compliance for areas of responsibility. The Manager of Ancillary Services builds relationships with a thorough understanding of and commitment to PeaceHealth culture, including core values and Leadership Model. The Manager oversees Ancillary Services which includes Rehab Services, Respiratory, OP Services with a dotted line to Imaging and lab services. The Manager of Ancillary Services must ensure that quality and performance improvement activities meet target conditions. The Manager of Ancillary Services is responsible to adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and standards for their areas and to be continuously ready for any survey on those regulations or standards.
Details of the position:
- Work closely with leadership throughout the organization to maximize operational efficiencies and meet capital and operating budget goals. Participate in operational planning and implementation of organizational strategic plans and ensure overall operational performance.
- Manage operational units as assigned including providing leadership for clinical excellence, personnel management, fiscal accountability, operational effectiveness, and positive relations with other departments, members of the medical staff, physician practices and all stakeholders within scope and span of control.
- Promote change, facilitates redesign, and implement systems and processes to maintain compliance with regulatory standards, state and federal laws, PeaceHealth policies, and accreditation within all programs and clinical units. Resolve escalated, complex issues and questions.
- Lead or participate in projects, task forces and committees in area of expertise that drive innovation, quality, value and/or better service to customers and caregivers.
- Develop and implement cost-savings, authorize and monitors budget expenditures and manage the budget planning process for assigned areas of responsibilities. Examine, analyze and implement innovative solutions to increase productivity and quality.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's Degree Required: Healthcare or related field
- Master's Degree Preferred
- Minimum of 5 years Required: Related experience and
- Minimum of 2 years Required: Management experience
- Preferred: Experience in leadership, team process, troubleshooting and follow-through of projects
- Required: Physical Therapist - Oregon if PT: Current clinical licensure in the state of practice as required to practice.
- Required: Occupational Therapist - Oregon if OT: Current clinical licensure in the state of practice as required to practice.
- Required: Registered Nurse if RN: Current clinical licensure in the state of practice as required to practice and
- Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support
