Housekeeping Supervisor Director Position Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for directing the housekeeping department and all related tasks. Their leadership role includes the following responsibilities:
- Manage the community’s housekeeping operations and staff including hiring, training, and terminating employees.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections to ensure the community is safe and sanitary according to policy.
- Oversee the department’s budget & maintain required records and reports as outlined in the policies and procedures.
- Perform any related tasks assigned by the Administrator.
- Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
Housekeeping Supervisor Requirements
- Associate degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility
