Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain efficiency and quality of service.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas of the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of patient rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Address guest complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests or events requiring additional cleaning services.
- Maintain records of staff performance, incidents, and inventory for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial services or industrial cleaning is essential.
- Previous experience in housekeeping management within a hospitality or nursing home setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment.
