Role and Responsibilities
- Partner with the VP of Investment & Strategy by leveraging a deep knowledge base and consistently pursuing innovative solutions.
- Develop presentations and talking points for pitches and client updates.
- Support the identification and outreach efforts to prospective institutional investors.
- Cultivate relationships with institutional investors, including pension plans, foundations/endowments, and asset management platforms.
- Act as a key point of contact within the Equity Capital Markets team.
- Lead small to medium-sized projects and partner with senior team members on larger projects, aiming to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining Salesforce CRM contacts.
- Play a crucial role on the Due Diligence Committee by collaborating with internal teams to gather necessary information and creating a repository for future Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs).
- Coordinate with the Investor Relations team on client and investor deliverables.
Qualifications
- Experience in institutional alternative investments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a client-focused approach.
- Series 7 and Series 63 highly preferred or the ability to obtain within a six month period.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs with solid computer literacy. Strong Excel and Salesforce skills are required.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment, manage multiple deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong presentation skills and comfortable with presenting to investors.
- Quick to learn new products and systems, self-driven, and highly attentive to detail.
- Possesses strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to handle delegated tasks and define appropriate solutions.
- Well-organized, able to develop plans, break them down into actionable steps, and identify and resolve risks or issues to ensure timely project completion.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
