The Host / Hostess role is vital to providing the unsurpassed levels of hospitality we strive to maintain. They are the first impression and representation of Enoteca and its culture. Our candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, warmth, friendliness, and an extensive understanding of hospitality. He or she must be able to remain cool calm and collected in the busiest of times, manage reservations and the timing and flow of the restaurant. He or sure will escort guests to their appropriate seats and set the tone for a memorable dining experience. Our ideal candidate will :
- Manage Open Table system and ensure proper seating assignments.
- Be friendly, kind, warm and genuinely provide unsurpassed hospitality
- Receive and execute room service orders promptly and accurately
- Answer incoming phone calls and effectively communicate to team members and management
- Adhere to company standards in regard to appearance
- Work safely, efficiently, and follow all health guidelines
- Perform assigned side work throughout the shift
- Be willing to learn and grow and expand their knowledge of our food and beverage program
- Embrace the culture and work well with team members
