RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regular client interfacing via email, phone, and Zoom
- Data entry with the ability to create needed bank rules for recurring expenses
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation account via Quickbooks Online
- Monthly account reconciliations
- 1099 preparation
- Reconcile payroll quarterly
- Categorize monthly transactions
- Send monthly financial statements: P&L, balance sheet, statement of cash flow
- Maintain and manage charge of accounts
- Process/system creation for communication and uploading of statements/receipts
- Budget creation: planned/actual expenditure & variance reporting
- Invoice creation and management
- Expense tracking
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficient knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles (GAAP)
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and Quickbooks
- Proficiency in English, MS Office, and cloud-based platforms (i.e. Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.)
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, preferred
- QBO certified, preferred
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- 1099 contractor position, hourly
- Hourly rate is $25.00
- 100% Remote position
- All applicants may be subject to annual background checks
- All applicants must be able to provide 3 references from current or previous bookkeeping clients
