The HR Benefits Coordinator assists employees with benefits enrollment and questions, verifies all insurance billing, maintains employee databases and files, and ensures compliance with required benefit notices. Additionally, it supports the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition team of 7-10 team members, supporting 600 employees with planned growth to exceed 1,000 employees within 2-3 years and reporting directly to the VP of Human Resources.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
We are looking for an HR Benefits Coordinator to support the HR team’s company operations. The HR team helps drive company culture, strengthen values, and reinforce the behaviors needed to support the company's strategy, objectives, and activities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health, vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
? Conduct benefits orientations and explain the benefits of the self-enrollment system.
? Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in the payroll system for payroll deduction.
? Assist employees with health, life, and other related benefit claims.
? Verify the calculations of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintain statistical data relative to premiums and costs. Resolve administrative problems with the carrier representatives.
? Coordinate workers' compensation claims with third-party administrators. Follow up on claims.
? Assist the VP of HR in obtaining statistics and information in the renewal process of any health, life, and retirement plans that benefit the company.
? Prepare and set up meetings to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs. Ensure distribution of required employee notices.
? Responsible for PTO inquiries, accruals audits, payouts, reconciliations, and notifications.
? Partner with employees and managers in leave of absence and FMLA-related inquiries. Provide guidance and ensure compliance as needed.
? Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
? Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
? Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- BA or BS Degree Required.
- At least one year of human resource experience is Required.
- HR certifications Preferred.
- Detail Oriented with strong technical skills in Google Workspace and MS Office.
- Knowledge of Paylocity or a similar HRIS system is a plus.
- Located in Denver, Colorado Springs, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, or Austin
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
