BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School graduate/GED preferred.
· Previous experience in health club preferred, but not required.
· Recent computer experience necessary.
· Recent and excellent cash handling experience
· Excellent telephone etiquette required.
· Must have excellent people skills including ability to multi task, prioritize, and work with all aspects of the public
· Requires the ability to communicate effectively with members
· Reliable transportation required.
· Proof of Work Authorization and proof of Identity per IRCA.
· Position requires the physical ability to easily lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds. Position requires twisting, turning, bending, stooping and sitting or standing for prolonged periods.
PRIMARY FUNCTION Primarily responsible for assisting members with general questions, simple billing questions, selling new memberships, conducts tours of the facility. Scans contracts, change forms, and the like into member files. Wipe down equipment/sanitize and reset equipment throughout their shift, restocks required supplies in locker rooms and restock retail items as needed, empty trash, sweep and mop when needed. Answers telephones and transfers calls as necessary.
SUPERVISION:
Is supervised by Manager and/or Owners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for selling memberships for the Club in accordance with policy and standard operating procedures. Collects monies for initiation fees and dues. Conducts tours of facility highlighting the Clubs facilities, amenities, and additional services. Assists members with questions on a wide range of topics from adding family members to the account, medical freezes, simple billing questions, times and location of classes, and the like. Scans contracts, change forms, and the like into member files. Wipes down equipment, resets equipment throughout their shift. Sweeps and mops when needed.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follows all policies and procedures of Peak Fitness. Performs all other tasks requested by management.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to easily lift, push, pull minimum of 50 pounds. Position requires twisting, turning, bending, stooping and sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time.
