Key Responsibilities:

  • Plant Health Assessments:
  • Conduct regular inspections of plants to assess their health.
  • Identify and diagnose plant diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies.
  • Treatment and Maintenance:
  • Develop and implement plant health care programs.
  • Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments to address identified issues.
  • Perform pruning, watering, and other maintenance activities to promote plant health.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain detailed records of plant health assessments, treatments, and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare reports on the status of plants and recommended actions.
  • Client Communication:
  • Communicate with clients to understand their specific plant care needs and preferences.
  • Provide recommendations and advice on plant health improvement.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with landscaping teams to coordinate overall landscape management.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of landscaping projects.
  • Equipment Operation:
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as sprayers, trimmers, and other tools required for plant care.
  • Continued Education:
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in plant health care and landscaping techniques.
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications or coursework in horticulture is a plus).
  • Proven experience in plant health care or landscaping.
  • Knowledge of plant diseases, pests, and treatment methods.
  • Ability to operate and maintain relevant equipment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to keep accurate records.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
