Seeking Full-Time Nanny Educator (Fluent in Japanese)

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with a background in education, fluency in Japanese, and a passion for working with children!

Location: Longmont, CO (Relocation candidates considered)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, between the general hours of 7am - 7pm (flexibility for weeknights / weekends, with advance notice)

Compensation: $35 /hour, guaranteed 40 hours/week, PTO, Sick Time, Paid Holidays

About the Family:

A loving family in Longmont, CO, is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time nanny educator who is fluent in Japanese to help care for their three children (ages 9, 7, and 5). The family values cultural immersion and language development, and they are looking for someone who can primarily speak in Japanese while in the household. The children attend Japanese school one day a week, and the nanny will assist with homework and general language support. The mom homeschools the children, and is looking for direct help with this.

Responsibilities:

• Speak primarily in Japanese with the children throughout the day
• Assist with Japanese homework and language learning
• Help with homeschool activities, enrichment programs, and educational support
• Support the family with light household tasks (laundry, organizing, etc.) as needed
• Be open to occasional travel with the family (domestic and international, including trips to Japan)
• Be available for date nights as needed
• Ensure a nurturing, structured, and fun environment for the children

Requirements:

• Fluency in Japanese (native or near-native proficiency)
• Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or nanny capacity
• A background in teaching or education is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a warm, patient personality
• Must be comfortable with light household tasks and travel
• Valid driver’s license (family vehicle available for use during work hours)
