Peak Partners has a banking client who is seeking to hire a strategic and people-centric Vice President of Human Resources to lead its human resources and organizational development functions. This person will be responsible for driving a culture of engagement and high performance while ensuring the Company’s HR policies, practices, and strategies align with the mission and strategic vision of the well-established financial institution. This executive will report to the CEO of the Bank and oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, employee experience, leadership development, total rewards, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement an HR strategy that supports the bank’s overall business objectives and fosters a strong workplace culture.
- Talent Acquisition & Retention: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Employee Experience & Culture: Foster an inclusive, high-performing, and customer-focused culture across the organization.
- Compensation & Benefits: Work with the CFO to develop competitive and equitable total rewards programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and benefits offerings.
- Performance Management: Implement and manage performance evaluation systems to drive employee development and accountability.
- Learning & Development: Oversee leadership development and employee training programs to support career growth.
- HR Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure HR policies and practices comply with all federal and state regulations.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on workplace matters, conflict resolution, and engagement strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; SHRM certification is preferred.
- 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive HR role.
- Proven experience in the financial services industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cultural and organizational change.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute HR initiatives that align with business goals.
