Front Desk Patient Coordinator Job description
Peak Performance Sports and Spine Physical Therapy in Yakima, is seeking a Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator. This position is focused on delivering extraordinary customer service. You must be able to:
- Handle patient schedule and multiple provider schedules across 2 clinics
- Utilize a multi-line phone system
- Manage new referrals and new patient accounts
- Process incoming fax and mail throughout the day
- Verify insurance benefits
- Manage insurance authorizations
- Process medical record requests
- Collect patient payments and answer balance questions
- Communicate effectively with other clinics and law offices regarding patient records
You must be an efficient multi-tasker, be detail-oriented, and love to work in a busy environment. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, is organized, and is able to effectively prioritize time-sensitive tasks to meet deadlines. You should have strong interpersonal skills, a desire to grow within our company and be a team player.
WebPT experience is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
