What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Designer position at Peak Performers?
Peak Performers has partnered with a global biopharmaceutical company to assist in their search for an Instructional Designer. In this contract position, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging learning experiences and visually appealing graphic content.
Major duties
*
Analyze learning needs and performance gaps.
*
Develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, and training manuals.
*
Design and implement interactive and engaging learning experiences using various multimedia elements.
*
Apply adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
*
Create visually appealing graphics, infographics, and other visual content to support instructional materials.
*
Work closely with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy.
*
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project milestones.
*
Assist in marketing and omnichannel efforts by creating visual content that aligns with marketing strategies.
What are we looking for
*
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Education, or a related field, preferred.
*
Proven experience in instructional design and visual/graphic design.
*
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia).
*
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
*
Experience with e-learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
*
Knowledge of gamification and microlearning techniques.
*
Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
About this position
*
Rate: $50.00 - $55.00/hour
*
Length of engagement: ~12 months
*
Days/Hours: Monday-Friday/8am-5pm
*
This position is hybrid in Waltham, MA
