Instructional Designer
11-month contract
Hybrid - Waltham, MA
Key Responsibilities:
Instructional Design:
- Analyze learning needs and performance gaps.
- Develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, and training manuals.
- Design and implement interactive and engaging learning experiences using various multimedia elements.
- Apply adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
Visual & Graphic Design:
- Create visually appealing graphics, infographics, and other visual content to support instructional materials.
- Ensure all visual content aligns with branding guidelines and enhances the learning experience.
- Develop layouts and designs for digital and print materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Education, or a related field, preferred.
- Proven experience in instructional design and visual/graphic design.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia).
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Knowledge of gamification and microlearning techniques.
