About the Role
The Territory Account Manager is a field-based sales role responsible for developing and managing retail accounts in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. This position involves a mix of new business hunting and account management, requiring regular in-person visits to retail locations. The ideal candidate is high-energy, self-motivated, and eager to drive growth in a fast-evolving market.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop a portfolio of up to 300 retail accounts, ensuring strong relationships and repeat business.
- Conduct in-person sales visits to grow market presence and onboard new retail partners.
- Meet monthly revenue targets through effective prospecting, relationship-building, and sales execution.
- Train retailers on product offerings, industry trends, and sales strategies to drive volume.
- Track sales activity, market trends, and competitive insights, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to expand market reach.
Qualifications
- 1-4 years of outside sales experience (retail sales or specialty store experience preferred).
- Strong hunting mentality, with a focus on new business acquisition and retail account development.
- Ability to manage a high-volume, territory-based sales role with a structured, organized approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required (new graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (role requires frequent local travel).
- Must be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
