The Director of Sales and Service is responsible for generating new revenue streams and ensuring effective partnership execution within West Georgia Athletics. This role integrates business development, sponsorship sales, and client relationship management to establish and sustain corporate partnerships. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong sales expertise and a proven ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and secure new sponsorship opportunities with businesses looking to partner with Central Arkansas Athletics.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential sponsors through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building.
- Utilize market research and industry insights to tailor sponsorship packages that align with business objectives.
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements and contracts to ensure mutually beneficial terms.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all contracted corporate partners, ensuring a seamless experience from acquisition to activation.
- Manage and fulfill partnership agreements, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and activations are executed effectively.
- Conduct regular check-ins with partners to assess satisfaction, identify needs, and address any concerns.
- Proactively identify opportunities for renewal and upselling to increase revenue from existing partnerships.
- Develop compelling proposals and presentations outlining the value proposition of continued and expanded partnerships.
- Plan and execute high-quality hospitality experiences for corporate partners, including VIP events and exclusive access opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to activate sponsored elements across digital, social, and in-venue platforms.
- Monitor and evaluate partnership effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, client satisfaction, and key metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, corporate sponsorships, or partnership fulfillment, preferably within the sports industry.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute comprehensive sales and service plans.
- Ability to manage multiple partnerships simultaneously with high attention to detail.
- Passion for sports and an understanding of the collegiate athletics landscape is a plus.
