PEAK Technical Staffing USA is looking for an experienced Procurement Operations Manager to lead our procurement operations function.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with expertise in planning, scheduling and coordinating production activities. Key responsibilities include managing procurement processes, evaluating vendor quotations, preparing contracts and ensuring timely responses to internal and external customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement processes and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate prices and ensure quality delivery
- Prepare and review contracts, bids and proposals, and ensure legal correctness and acceptability
- Work closely with engineering teams to source new components and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries
Requirements:
- 5 years' experience in procurement and materials planning in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
