- Tool testing and Reporting
- Identify potential cost savings
- Locate alternative product sources
- Work with manufacturers on Tooling improvements and problem resolution
- Support Manufacturer Tool Testing
- Tool Life Improvement
- Quality Improvements
- Tool Testing/Cost Savings Documentation
- Focus on Through-Put Improvements
- Manage the change process (Make sure all aspects of tool change have been completed)
- Support the applicable staff in New Program Procurement
- Support all Plant Engineers
- Transact Business in SX as Required (Orders, POs, Receiving)
- Procurement of assigned Plant Industrial Material
- Prepare and Submit Quotations to Customers
- Resolve Customer/Vendor Issues when Required
- Manage Customer On-Site Industrial Product for Vending Machines Solutions ? Place product into vending machine
- Maintain proper inventory levels
- Maintain database
- Ensure inventory accuracy thru cycle counts
- Transact product returns
- Trouble shoot problems
- Expedite Deliveries
- Personnel Interacting with:
- Manufacturer Sales & Service
- Machine Builders
- Customer Crib Personnel
- Customer Engineers & Plant Personnel
- Perform other miscellaneous activities as requested by Management o
- Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering/Technology
- Five years or more related industry experience
- Expertise in machining/cutting tool applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications required (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skill
