Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hard-working Veterinary Technician to join our team. The candidate will play a vital role in our mobile practice that focuses on providing abdominal ultrasound and small animal internal medicine consultations within primary care hospitals throughout Phoenix. This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Utilization of animal restraint techniques to assist in physical examinations and abdominal ultrasounds.
- Direct communication with staff, veterinarians and clients within primary care hospitals throughout the metropolitan Phoenix area.
- Development, maintenance and proof-reading of accurate abdominal ultrasound reports
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, set-up and maintenance of abdominal ultrasound equipment.
- Safely driving company vehicle as we travel to primary care hospitals throughout the metropolitan Phoenix area.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology and proper animal restraint.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with pet owners and team members.
- Safe driving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word
