How You Can Join Us
PEAKE's Enterprise Services division is seeking a Business Development/Capture Manager responsible for securing existing and winning new business opportunities in the Homeland Security and DoD markets. The technical scope focus will be mobile communication solutions to include GEO SATCOM, LEO SATCOM, Networking, SDWAN, Cloud coupled with programatic support.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall business development and capture strategy for approved pursuit efforts.
- Orchestrate all aspects of the bid strategy, including:
- Call plans
- Solution development
- Cost/price strategy
- Position-to-win initiatives
- Provide oversight for the development of all proposal volumes.
- Create and lead capture teams, fostering a culture of ethical winning practices.
- Work closely with corporate functional leads to support the transition from opportunity identification to capture.
- Assemble and manage the capture team to ensure successful contract bids and wins.
- Contact existing clients and partners to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities.
- Communicate the organization’s core capabilities to internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish and manage internal and external teaming arrangements.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role at the senior level (8-10 years)
- Previous experience in Homeland Security and DoD markets
- An ethical approach to winning
- Comprehensive business acumen
- Technical understanding and/or education
- Resourcefulness to manage process-driven captures
- Internal/external customer relations-oriented individual.
Travel Requirements:
- Approximately 25% travel
Security Clearance:
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance required. We are willing to sponsor candidates for DoD clearance.
