Key Responsibilities Of An EVS Worker
- Cleaning and Disinfecting:
- Cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors.
- Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, fixtures, and equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and guidelines.
- Waste Management:
- Properly handling and disposing of trash and waste materials, including biohazardous waste.
- Emptying and relining trash receptacles.
- Linen Management:
- Distributing clean linen and transporting soiled linen.
- Sorting, classifying, and marking items sent to the laundry.
- Other Duties:
- Dusting, cleaning, and polishing surfaces and finishes on furniture, woodwork, and fixtures.
