Primary Purpose
Admin is responsible for investigation of newly reported Workers Compensation claims, including determining compensability / liability and whether it meets the criteria to be transferred to an Analyst. This position supports Analysts / Specialists / Managers.
Our flexible / hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducts investigations on assigned Workers Compensation Med Only claims, determines coverage, creates action plans for resolution, evaluates financial exposure and sets appropriate reserves.
- Effectively communicates with local management and outside professionals.
- Maintains confidentiality of information and records.
- Develop a working knowledge of banner policies and procedures.
- Supports adjusters by researching and gathering necessary documentation for claims.
- Supports adjusters by updating claims files with correspondence and notes.
- Supports projects assigned by Manager as needed.
- Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.
